Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, begin your journey with a visit to the iconic Mughal Gardens—Shalimar Bagh, the “Abode of Love,” Nishat Bagh, the “Garden of Pleasure,” and Chashmashahi, the “Royal Spring.” Later, drive up the Zabarwan Hills to the revered Shankaracharya Temple. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Srinagar.
After an early breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, a breathtaking wonderland where nature reveals its finest artistry—lush meadows. You may enjoy the famed Gondola Ride (optional). After your day’s exploration, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at Srinagar.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pahalgam, the “Valley of Shepherds.” En route, visit the Awantipura Ruins, Saffron Fields, and traditional Cricket Bat Factories. Pahalgam’s tranquil beauty and untouched landscapes make it a favourite film-shooting destination. After enjoying the serene surroundings, return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay at Srinagar.
This morning, depart for Kargil via Sonamarg, the “Meadow of Gold.” The drive is incredibly picturesque, passing through charming villages, terraced fields, and riverside vistas. Continue your journey through the rugged terrain of Zoji La Pass), the gateway to Ladakh. Stop at Drass, the second coldest inhabited place in the world, to visit the Kargil War Memorial, a tribute to India’s brave soldiers. Arrive in Kargil for dinner and an overnight stay at Kargil.
After breakfast, depart for Leh via the dramatic landscapes of Lamayuru, famed for its “Moonland” terrain—surfaces shaped eerily like the lunar surface. Continue to the spectacular confluence of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers at Sangam, visit the mysterious Magnetic Hill, the sacred Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the inspirational Hall of Fame Museum. Arrive in Leh, check in at the hotel, and rest overnight.
After breakfast, proceed on an enriching monastery tour of the Indus Valley. Visit Hemis Gompa, the largest monastery of Ladakh, followed by the beautiful hilltop Thiksey Monastery, and Shey Palace, the former royal residence. Continue to the famous Rancho School (3 Idiots) and serene Sindhu Ghat. Return to Leh and explore Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and the vibrant local markets. Dinner and overnight stay at Leh.
After an early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via the legendary Khardung La Pass -one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Nubra, also known as the Valley of Flowers, lies between the Karakoram and Ladakh mountain ranges. Arrive in Sumur or Hunder and spend your afternoon exploring the charming villages and the historic Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Nubra.
After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Pangong Lake, travelling through the scenic routes of Shyok River and Durbuk Village. Pangong, the highest saltwater lake in the world, is renowned for its surreal blue waters and mesmerizing colour shifts. Overnight stay in your camp/cottage by the lake.
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely drive along the lake’s scenic shores—perfect for capturing unforgettable photographs. Continue your journey to Leh via the Changla Pass (17,350 ft), the world’s third-highest motorable road. Arrive in Leh and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure for shopping or personal activities. Overnight stay at Leh.
After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey, carrying cherished memories of your beautiful Kashmir–Ladakh expedition.
